Our Terms & Conditions Policy

Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a trip with us. We strongly recommend that you also read the Essential Trip Information relating to your trip prior to booking to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and physical demands of the trip you are undertaking.

 

Contract

The booking conditions constitute a legally binding contract between TripsInBudget and the services provided by it.

By booking with a trekking tours with TripsInBudget and paying a non-refundable booking deposit which usually will be 50% of the tour cost , or full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these booking conditions. Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed in writing to you and a contract becomes binding on the date shown on your confirmation letter or email.

If you do not understand any of the terms and conditions please feel free to discuss these with the representative whom you are dealing.

 

Responsibility, Liability, Extra Cost, Prices and Brochure Accuracy – Changes and Errors

All the packages are sold under the business management of TripsInBudget. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither TripsInBudget. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes / riots, road block etc.

 

Our Liabilities and Limitation

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

TripsInBudget  act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general wellbeing.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

 

Change/Cancellation of Booking by participant

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing.

  • If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:- 30 days or more prior to departure, we will retain the deposit;

Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and for cancellation charges please read our Booking Policy below

 

Travel Insurance

Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour/trip price. While every effort is made to ensure the safety for all, it is highly recommended that you obtain personal travel insurance that is adequate to cover you for any event. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability. TripsInBudget also recommends your travel Insurance covers cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

 

Age & Health Requirements

A minimum age at the time of travel applies to many of our trips – please see specific Essential Trip Information for details. For the majority of our trips we have no upper age limit though we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding and passengers must ensure that they are suitably fit to allow full participation.  All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or in lieu of a legal guardian, by an escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian. The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the traveller under the age of 18 day to days care… Please note, families must upgrade from dorm-share accommodation to private rooms where applicable.   We cannot guarantee triple or joining rooms for families; accompanying adults may be required to share with others in the group on a twin share basis.

 

Booking Policy

 

  • Booking can be modified up to 3 days before the travel date (cancellation / date change charges apply for hotels along with any price difference for revised date)
  • Booking can be cancelled up to 3 days before the travel date (below Cancellation Policy applies)
  • Itinerary can be changed by adding / removing places (as long as the schedule is not impacted) up to 3 days before the travel date. Any extra kilo-meters added due to itinerary change is payable directly to the cab driver.
  • Vehicle can be upgraded to the next category by paying the fare difference up to 3 days before the travel date
  • For multi-day trips, free pick-up & drop from your location within city limits (Ex: BBMP limits for Bengaluru, GHMC limits for Hyderabad, etc). All one day trips start from city centre (Ex: Majestic for Bangalore).
  • Standard Hotel check-in time is usually between 12 PM – 2 PM & check-out time is between 10 AM to 12 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability & hotel may charge extra (not included in the tour price). In case of late check-in, please inform the hotel about your arrival time.
  • In case you arrive before check-in time & free rooms are unavailable, you can fresh-up in hotel washroom and proceed with sightseeing until your check-in time.
  • Customers should be ready for sightseeing at Start Time mentioned in the itinerary in order to cover all the places in itinerary. Sightseeing can’t extend beyond 7 PM and any places missed can’t be covered on following day.
  • Sightseeing is limited to the places mentioned in the itinerary. If time permits, you may visit additional places (not mentioned in itinerary) by paying for extra kilo-meters to the cab driver.
  • In case of natural disasters or cab strike, your tour may be cancelled by Trawell.in and 100% of your booking amount will be refunded
  • In extreme cases, your tour may be cancelled by Trawell.in for unavoidable reasons (within 24 hours of booking) and 100% of your booking amount will be refunded
  • In rare cases, the primary hotel mentioned in the tour page may be unavailable. You will be offered alternate accommodation in the same or higher category. If you are not satisfied with alternate hotel, you may choose to cancel the tour (100% of booking amount will be refunded).
  • Hotel rooms are provided on twin sharing basis. In case of 3 adults or child above 5 years, 3-sharing room or Room with extra bed/mattress will be provided
  • Hotel may deny check-in for unmarried couple and no refund will be issued in such cases
  • Please check weekly off days for sightseeing places. Also, few places may be closed due to heavy rains / maintenance without prior intimation & we have no control on such incidents. Wherever possible, alternate sightseeing may be arranged in such cases.
  • Entry Fees & Activity Fees may change without any intimation and we have no control on the same. All fees mentioned are for Indian nationals.
  • Refund for cancelled tours usually takes around 7-10 business days
  • Additional charges may apply for Airport Pick-up/Drop (select Airport Pickup option from Additional Options popup on Tour Page)
  • Any issues encountered during the trip need to be resolved with Tour Manager immediately during the trip. Issues can’t be addressed after completion of the trip.
  • Trawell.in liability is limited to providing cab & hotel. Sightseeing is complementary and it carries no liability. Whle we try our best to cover all places in the itinerary, no refund will be issued for sightseeing missed during the trip.
  • Any service issues related to Vehicle & Accommodation need to be resolved with the service provider directly, while Trawell.in can help facilitate the communication
  • Vehicles Provided (all vehicles are A/C only) : Hatchback – Indica V2, Swift, Ritz, similar; Sedan – Dzire, Etios, Fiesta, Xcent, Amaze, similar; SUV – Innova, Xylo, or similar
  • Hotel Voucher will be shared 10 Days before travel date (or) within 48 hours from the time of booking (in case tour is booked within 10 days)
  • All Hotels are booked in the name of Primary Traveler mentioned at the time of booking. The guest name can’t be changed once the hotels are booked. Valid ID & Address proof need to be carried for all guests including children.
  • On Christmas (Dec 25th) & New Year (Dec 31st), Hotel may charge extra amount for Mandatory gala night dinner from guests (directly payable at hotel – not included in the package cost)
  • If hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, INR 100 for 2-star, INR 150 for 3-star & INR 250 for 4-star will be provided as Breakfast expenses per person (above 5 years). If you miss complimentary breakfast in the hotel due to early morning sightseeing (before 8 AM), you need to have breakfast outside at own expense.
  • Cab& Driver details will be provided 10 hours before the Trip Start Time
  • In case the cab arrival is delayed on Day 1, you can extend the trip end time on last day up to the duration the cab pickup is delayed
  • In case of vehicle breakdown and issue is not resolved in 2 hours (from the time the issue is reported), we will provide alternate vehicle (or) free accommodation in nearby town with food allowance until the issue is resolved.
  • If tour is booked with partial advance payment, additional terms can be found in the below section
  • For cab only bookings, additional terms can be found below

Cancellation Policy :

 

  • Beyond 15 days from date of travel – 10% of Order Total is charged as cancellation fee
  • Between 8-15 days from date of travel – 50% of Order Total is charged as cancellation fee
  • Between 3-7 days from date of travel – 75% of Order Total is charged as cancellation fee
  • No Refund if cancelled within 2 days from date of travel (sorry, we already paid for your Hotel & Cab by this time)

Payment Terms

 

  • In case booking is made more than 10 days in advance:
    • Partial payment of 50% of Order Total can be made to block the tour
    • Hotel Vouchers will be sent within 2 working days after the order is placed
    • The balance payment of remaining 50% needs to be paid at least 4 days before the travel date
  • In case booking is made more than 20 days in advance (not applicable for Cab Only bookings and bookings from Dec 1, 2017 to Jan 1, 2018):
    • Partial payment of 10% of Order Total can be made to block the tour (non-refundable)
    • Hotel Vouchers will be sent 15 days before travel date
    • 50% of Order Total needs to be paid within 48 hours after receiving Hotel Vouchers
    • Balance 40% of Order Total needs to be paid at least 4 days before the travel date
  • For One Day trips booked with Rs. 1000 advance option, advance is non-refundable. Balance amount needs to be paid to driver by cash (INR) before the trip starts.
  • In case the balance payment is delayed beyond due date (without authorization from Trawell.in), trip is considered as cancelled and general Cancellation Policy applies
  • In case you are given an option to pay the balance amount to Cab Driver, the amount needs to be paid by Cash (INR) to driver when the trip starts at your pickup location
  • For Cab Only bookings, additional terms can be found below
  • All the terms in Booking Policy apply to the trips booked through partial payment mode
  • For group tours with more than 7 guests, Trawell.in may request the balance payment earlier than the due date

 

Cab Booking Policy

 

  • Cab is limited to sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary of the tour
  • The all-inclusive fare includes vehicle, fuel, driver allowance, toll, parking, inter-state tax (if any) & other applicable taxes – no additional/hidden charges beyond what is shown in our website
  • Free pickup/drop within 10 km from city centre. Additional charges apply for pickup location beyond 10 km based on distance.
  • For Airport pickup/drop, select the relevant option by clicking on Additional Options button
  • Start & End Time mentioned in the itinerary need to be followed to visit all the places mentioned in itinerary. Additional charges will apply to start the trip before 5 AM or end after 11.59 PM (unless mentioned in the itinerary).
  • For local sightseeing tours, cab is provided only for sightseeing with pickup/drop from Hotel. Pickup/Drop from Airport/Railway Station/Bus Station can be provided at extra cost based on availability.
  • Hotel location should be within 10 km from city/town centre in your destination. Additional charges for accommodation beyond 10 km based on distance from city/town centre.
  • Additional places not mentioned in the itinerary can be visited (if time permits) by paying for extra km to the driver directly
  • For Goa, cabs can be provided for hotels located in Panjim or Calangute only
  • In case cabs are unavailable (in rare cases), your order may be cancelled by TripsInBudget and 100% of your booking amount will be refunded within 24 hours of booking
  • All the terms in Booking Policy apply to the cab bookings
  • In case cab is booked with 50% advance payment option:
    • Balance payment needs to be made at least 3 days before travel date
    • In case you are given an option to pay the balance amount to Cab Driver, the amount needs to be paid by Cash (INR) to driver when the trip starts at your pickup location
