Bali Pass is one of the least explored treks that links Har Ki Dun valley to Yamunotri valley. The trek offers amphitheater views of Swargarohini peaks 1 & 2, Banderpooch and Kala Nag or Black Peak. The pass is situated at an altitude of 4950 m. Due to its high altitude, the post monsoon period is considered the best time to trek. In the pre-monsoon season, there is plenty of snow that makes climbing to the pass more challenging and technical. The trekking route is challenging and is not recommended for beginners. The main attractions of this trek includes pine forests of GovindPashu National Park, meadows of DebshuBugyal, beautiful camp site of Rainbasera, alpine lake of Ruinsara, Yamnotri temple and many more.
